RTI INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION OF
OPERATIONS AT RMI TITANIUM COMPANY

Niles, Ohio – RTI International Metals, Inc.(NYSE; RTI) announced today that a court order curtailing operations at its RMI Titanium Company subsidiary has been lifted.

The Company announced Monday that a Trumbull County court had ordered a one week "cooling off" period in connection with violence surrounding an ongoing strike by the United Steelworkers of America at its Niles, Ohio plant. The Company contended that the order interfered with its operations and was without legal authority.

In a court hearing Wednesday, the Company prevailed in its argument and the order was amended to permit the resumption of operations.

RTI International Metals, Inc., headquartered in Niles, Ohio, through its various subsidiaries, manufactures and distributes titanium and specialty metal mill products, forgings, extruded shapes, and engineered systems for energy-related markets. The Company’s products are used for aerospace, industrial and consumer applications.
