RTI COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS, INC. SUSPENDS TUBING SOLICITATION

Hermitage, Pennsylvania – RTI Commercial Products, Inc., a unit of RTI International Metals, Inc. (NYSE: RTI) announced today that it has stopped soliciting new orders for its welded tubing products due to an inability to obtain sufficient input material in the form of rolled, narrow-width skelp. The Company will continue to produce existing orders for welded tubing and believes that it will have sufficient material to complete those orders.

Commercial Products’ normal supplier, Uniti Titanium, has advised that it is unable to meet orders due to insufficient titanium supplies from Russia. Uniti is a joint venture between Allegheny Technologies, Inc. and VSMPO, the Russian titanium producer. Commercial Products is currently exploring alternative sources. If alternative sources are not found, RTI will use the facility to service other product lines.

RTI’s other businesses and mill products are unaffected.
